ATTENDANCECalifornia Educational Code requires all students to attend school on a daily basis.  In order for your child to receive the best education, please have your child or children attend school every day and be on time. The district is sending letters home every month for seven or more absences and un-cleared absences.  If your child is absent, you must send a note to the teacher verifying his/her absences upon their return. We need a Doctor’s note if your child is out five or more consecutive days or saw a doctor.  Also, the district makes automated calls when your child is late, absent, or leaves early.  We have no control over these calls because the information is captured from the computer attendance program daily, by 8:30 am.
