After School Programs

AFTER SCHOOL PLAYGROUND - Beginning August 14, 2018, the playground will be open on school days until 6:00 PM for students who are 2nd grade and above. The Los Angeles Unified School District’s Youth Services Section provides supervised recreational and educational activities after school each day at no charge to students.  The playground, on occasion, may be closed due to the absence of supervision or school schedule changes.  Your child should have an emergency back up plan in case the playground is closed.

This is not a child-care program.  It is a permissive recreation program and parents are not required to sign their child out.  Students arrive and leave as they please, and participation is a privilege.  Students must conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with the rules and regulations of our school and playground.  Please note that the Youth Services playground program closes promptly at 6:00 PM.  No staff is scheduled after that time.  It is the parent’s responsibility to provide appropriate supervision for his/her child at the close of the program to ensure their safety and well-being.  The playground is closed for ALL school and legal holidays.

Woodcraft Rangers - Woodcraft Rangers is a nonprofit organization which receives financial support from federal and state funds, grants, and individual donations, to provide an after-school program and activities.  Students must conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with the rules and regulations of our school.  This program serves Transitional kindergarten through fifth grade.  There are limited spaces available in all grade levels and students may be put on a wait list.
